First Visit?

Welcome to Clearview!

Interested in visiting our church for the first time? Whether you are new to the area, have lived here a long time, or are just passing through in your travels, you will find that Clearview Baptist Church is the ideal place for you and your family.

Where would I fit in?     Where would I fit in?

One of the most difficult things about visiting a church for the first time is knowing what to expect. At Clearview, we want you to feel comfortable and welcome. As you join us for services, you have nothing to fear. We are not going to do anything to embarrass you, or point you out as “new”. Instead, we want you to come right in and join us as we worship and hear powerful preaching from God’s Word. It doesn’t matter where you are on your road of life, we want to present you with a clear view of Christ.

When are your services?     When are your services?

Sunday School – 9:30am

Sunday school classes meet from 9:45 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., right before the main preaching service. This is the perfect opportunity for you and your family to meet other fellow believers and also learn great Bible truths.

For children, there are multiple classes ranging from the beginner, primary, and junior levels.  For teens, there is a dynamic program that takes a bold look at the life issues they currently face.  For adults, there are many classes to choose from that will encourage and equip for the daily Christian life.

Sunday Morning and Evening Services – 10:30am and 6:00pm

Every Sunday morning and Sunday evening, the main Sunday preaching service is held in the Main Auditorium. As you walk in, a friendly usher will greet you and be available to help you find a seat and answer any questions you may have. You will be given a visitors packet that contains information about the church as well as a small gift in appreciation of your visit.

Our services consist of hymns and spiritual songs that honor our great God, sincere prayer, practical preaching of the Word of God, and an open altar invitation. We would love for you to lift your voice with us during the congregational singing and you will find a hymn book in the rack behind every pew. We consider the preaching of the Word of God to be the priority, and the most important time of the service. At the end of the preaching, the Pastor will give an invitation. This is a time for people to respond to the Holy Spirit’s leading by walking down the aisle and praying at the altar. The leading may be to trust Jesus Christ as Savior or to address a personal need. Whatever your decision may be, the altar is open to you to respond as the Holy Spirit works in your heart.

 Children’s Church – 10:30am

For the children in K4 – 6th grade, there is a special children’s service held in the Fellowship Hall. This service gives the children an opportunity to grow spiritually and learn vital biblical truths at a young age. Specifically structured to keep the children on the edge of their seat, Children’s Church is packed with excitement from puppets, skits, games, memory verses, and weekly bible stories. We want your child to realize that worshipping and serving God is exciting!

Wednesday Bible Study – 7:00pm

The Wednesday evening Bible study takes place every week at 7:00 in the Main Auditorium. This is a time during the week when the church family delves deeper into the Word of God as practical, relevant truths are taught by our Pastor. You will learn how God’s Word still applies to every aspect of life today!

Kidz Klub – 7:00pm

In the months from September through May, the children have the opportunity to participate in Kidz Klub. This ministry includes captivating Bible lessons along with weekly “hurdles” for each child to strive to complete. The hurdles are simple Bible memorization or worksheet tasks that encourage children to make God a part of their daily lives.

Our well staffed Nursery is available during all service times.
